2. Initial Battery Charging

Place the handset in its charger. For optimal battery performance, allow the handset to charge for at least 24 hours continuously before initial use. The CHARGE indicator light on the handset will illuminate during charging.

The CS6409 is an accessory handset and must be registered to a compatible VTech CS6419, CS6428, or CS6429 Series base unit to function. Follow these steps:

1. Ensure the accessory handset is fully charged.
2. Place the new handset into the main phone base unit you already have.

Consult your base unit's manual for specific un-registration procedures.

The handset charger can be mounted on a wall using the included wall mount bracket. This helps to reduce desk clutter.

1. Attach the wall mount bracket to the wall using appropriate screws (not included).
2. Slide the handset charger onto the bracket until it clicks into place.

Handset Speakerphone
