5.3 Wiring (230V Control)

WARNING: Ensure the main power supply to your heating system is switched OFF at the consumer unit/fuse box before attempting any wiring. Electrical installation should be performed by a qualified professional.

The Salus RT310 is a wired thermostat. It provides both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contacts for connection to your heating system. For standard 230V control, you will typically use the COM and NO terminals.

Typical Wiring for Replacement (e.g., from an old analogue thermostat):

• Identify the wires from your existing thermostat. Common colors are Brown (Permanent Live), Black (Switched Live), Blue (Neutral), and Green/Yellow (Earth).
• Nyambungkeun Permanent Live (Brown) kawat ka COM (1) terminal on the RT310.
• Nyambungkeun Switched Live (Black) kawat ka NO (3) terminal on the RT310.
• The Nétral (Biru) wire is generally not required for the RT310 as it is battery-powered. It should be safely terminated in a terminal strip or insulated with electrical tape.
• The Bumi (Héjo/Konéng) wire should be connected to the earth terminal on the back box or safely terminated.

After wiring, carefully attach the thermostat front panel to the backplate. Restore power to your heating system.

6. Operasi

Once batteries are installed and wiring is complete, the thermostat will power on and display the current room temperature.
