If the primary display is disconnected or powered off, the splitter may revert to a default EDID or use the EDID of the next active display.

It is recommended to adjust the EDID switch while the source and displays are connected but before the source outputs video, or to power cycle the source after changing the EDID setting for the changes to take effect.
