This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your VTech VM5263 Pan & Tilt Video Baby Monitor. Please read all instructions carefully before using the product and retain this manual for future reference. The VTech VM5263 system includes a baby unit (camera) and a parent unit (monitor) to help you observe your baby remotely.

1. Connect the small end of the parent unit power adapter to the parent unit's power jack.

3.2 Connecting the Baby Unit (Camera)

The baby unit can play five calming melodies and four soft ambient sounds (including a trickling stream and white noise) to help soothe your baby.

• Access the menu on the parent unit to select and play lullabies or sounds.
• Adjust the volume of the sounds from the parent unit.

4.6 Adaptive Night Light

The baby unit features an adaptive night light that gently illuminates the nursery. You can choose from seven different colors.

• The night light automatically adjusts its brightness based on the ambient light in the nursery.
• Select the desired color from the parent unit's menu.
