Insert a Micro SD card (Class 10 or higher, up to 128GB recommended) into the Micro SD card slot with the contacts facing the camera body. Gently push until it clicks into place. To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.

Use the provided 3D printed camera mount to securely attach the RunCam Thumb 2 to your FPV drone, RC car, or other desired platform. Ensure the camera is firmly mounted to minimize vibrations and prevent loss during operation.

5.1 Operasi Dasar
- Daya Hurung: Connect the camera to a 5V power source. The indicator light will illuminate.

5.2 Remote Control Recording (via UART)
The RunCam Thumb 2 supports remote control recording via UART, typically connected to a flight controller. This allows you to start and stop recording using your remote transmitter.

Kabel Example (Speedy Bee F7):
- Solder the power wire (red) of the Type-C control cable to a 5V pad on your flight controller.
- Solder the GND wire (black) to a GND pad on your flight controller.
- Solder the Tx wire (green) to an Rx pad (e.g., R3) on your flight controller.
- Solder the Rx wire (white) to a Tx pad (e.g., T3) on your flight controller.
Note: Being too close to the GPS module may affect signal reception. Position the camera appropriately.
5.3 Camera Settings via RunCam App (QR Code)
Adjust camera settings such as resolution, saturation, exposure, and recording mode using the RunCam App on your smartphone. The app generates a QR code that the camera scans to apply settings.

- Download and open the RunCam App. Select 'Thumb 2'.
- Configure your desired settings (e.g., resolution, image rotation, recording mode).
- Generate the QR code within the app.
- Power on the camera. Double-press the button to switch to scanning mode (indicator light turns solid green).
- Present the generated QR code to the camera lens at an optimum distance of approximately 25mm. The indicator light will turn solid red upon successful scanning and application of settings.
5.4 Gyroflow Stabilization
The RunCam Thumb 2 features a built-in gyroscope that records Gyro data files. Ieu files can be used with Gyroflow software on a computer to achieve smooth and stabilized video footage dina pos-produksi.
