Guide instalasi

Follow these steps to install your Geek Smart Fingerprint Door Lock. Ensure your door thickness is between 1-3/8'' to 2-1/8'' (35-55mm).

1. Nyiapkeun lawang: Remove your existing door knob. Ensure the door hole and edge are clean and free of debris.
2. Pasang Latch: Insert the latch into the door edge. Adjust the latch length if necessary (60mm or 70mm) by twisting the mechanism. Secure it with the provided screws.
3. Install Exterior Handle: Slide the exterior handle through the door hole, ensuring the spindle passes through the latch. Connect the ribbon cable from the exterior handle to the interior panel.
4. Install Interior Panel: Align the interior panel with the exterior handle, ensuring the spindle and mounting posts are correctly seated. Secure with the long screws.
5. Selapkeun Batré: Unscrew the battery cover on the interior panel. Insert 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Replace the battery cover.

Parentah Operasi

1. Adding Fingerprints (Admin & Normal Users)

The first two fingerprints registered will automatically be designated as Admin fingerprints. Subsequent fingerprints will be normal users.

1. Locate the reset button on the interior panel (small hole next to the setting button).
2. Use the provided reset pin (or a paperclip) to press and hold the reset button until you hear a voice prompt "Add administrator fingerprint".
3. Place your finger on the fingerprint reader. The lock will prompt you to place your finger multiple times (usually 6 times) to ensure accurate registration. Follow the voice prompts.
4. Once successfully registered, you will hear "Addition successful".
5. To add normal users after 2 admin fingerprints are set, press the reset button. The lock will prompt "Please place your finger". Follow the same steps as above.

2. Unlocking and Locking

• Unlocking with Fingerprint: Simply place your registered finger on the fingerprint reader. The lock will unlock in less than 0.1 seconds.
• Locking Automatically: The lock is designed to automatically lock after 5 seconds of being unlocked.
• Using Mechanical Key: In case of emergency or preference, insert the mechanical key into the keyhole on the exterior handle and turn to unlock.

3. Mode Passage

Passage mode allows the door to remain unlocked for continuous access without requiring a fingerprint scan for each entry.

• Enable Passage Mode: Press the setting button on the interior panel once. The lock will announce "Passage Mode".
• Disable Passage Mode: Press the setting button again. The lock will announce "Lock Mode" and will resume automatic locking.

Battery and Emergency Charging

The lock is powered by 4 AAA batteries, providing long-lasting performance. In case of low battery or complete power loss, an emergency charging option is available.

• Waspada Batré Lemah: The lock will provide voice prompts and a flashing light when the battery is low, indicating it's time for replacement.
• Emergency Micro USB Port: A Micro USB port is located on the exterior handle. Connect a power bank or a Micro USB cable to provide temporary power for emergency unlocking.
